MAKE YOUR BEDROOM FEELS LUXURIUOS

Everyone deserves a bit of luxury whether with the average person spending almost a third of their life asleep, it makes sense to transform your bedroom into the ultimate luxurious retreat. When we think of luxury, we think of grandeur, splendor and money, isn’t luxurious interior design expensive? Well, no, it doesn’t have to be. How to transform your bedroom into a luxurious space and you will  be surprised of how easy and cheap it can be.

HANG MIRRORS

Bedroom mirror ideas can bring so much to the room, aside from their usefulness, mirrors can brighten a room, and provide a fresh view of the space. They can also be as decorative as any piece of artwork you might choose to hang and they even have the potential to create the illusion of depth or another space beyond the bedroom. Strategically place mirrors in the space to help reflect light and to make the room feel larger. We suggest leaning one atop a desk to create a makeshift vanity and this will also help make your bedroom feel like it belongs in a boutique hotel or hanging mirrors above each bedside table.

DISPLAY ART

Picking art for the bedroom is very different from picking art for other spaces in the house and that is for what should be obvious reasons. For one, the way we use a bedroom is quite different from how we tend to use a living room or a kitchen. The list goes on! Bedrooms as the name implies are all centered around activities that happen in and around the bed. Artwork is what gives a bedroom extra personality and is a key component of luxury hotel rooms. If you’re drawn to a modern aesthetic, a large abstract piece is an excellent choice. If your style leans more traditional, consider hanging a framed landscape. Black and white figure drawings are also quite chic; lean a few atop a dresser for a casual, Parisian vibe.

Hang a large mirror on one wall, and a few other framed pictures or paintings if you like that sort of thing. Again, the idea is not to overcrowd, stick to a couple of wall decorations and keep the rest of the walls clutter-free. As advised, against hanging anything but a mirror on to wallpapered walls, as this forces your eyes to compete with the wallpaper and the art.
